Here are some suggestions:
Give to The Futures Fund
This annual appeal was instituted during our 20th Anniversary Season and has already raised $2000! You can designate your gift to be put toward scholarships, equipment purchases and upgrades, or for the general fund. The great thing about The Futures Fund is that anyone can participate at almost any level -- from $35 on up. And if you work for a company that matches the charitable gifts of its employees, you may be able to double your contribution!
Naming OCT as a beneficiary in your will provides for a stable financial base for this important cultural resource as well as possibly reducing the tax burden of your estate. With a bequest, you can also permanently link your name to Olean Community Theatre, Inc. through the creation of an endowed fund that could underwrite scholarships, special equipment, educational programs, office space or future staff.
Name OCT as the beneficiary or split beneficiary of a life insurance policy or IRA.
Leave your residence, vacation home or farm to OCT, reserving the right to continue use of the property for your lifetime.
Fund a trust that will pay income to you for your lifetime, and then eventually benefit OCT.
Contact your attorney or tax advisor for guidance on establishing a bequest to OCT.
